Fine dots of pigment that recreate the look of closely cut hair, or cut down how much scalp shows through thinning hair. It's a tattoo, so it doesn't regrow hair. It changes what people see.

Results
Every hairline is built over three sessions. The first is deliberately light, because it's easy to add density and very hard to take it away. Tap through to see how it builds.
Session 1. A soft, light first layer. The shape was agreed in the mirror before any pigment went in.
Session 2. At least a week later, once the first has healed. Density goes in where it's needed.
Session 3. Shade and density refined. Some people need a fourth session; a few are done after two.

Healed results go here as our clients finish their sessions. We only ever show our own clients' results: same light, unretouched, with their written permission.
Who it's for
A defined hairline, set for your age, or a sharp shaved-head look across the whole scalp.
Dots placed between the hairs you still have, so less scalp shows through.
You keep your length and nothing is shaved. It softens the contrast along a widening parting.
Once your alopecia has settled. Pigment stays where it's put, so we wait until the pattern is stable.
When treatment has finished and your hair has shown what it will grow back as. We may ask you to check with your oncology team first.
Thinning along the hairline from years of extensions, or hair that hasn't recovered after pregnancy or has thinned through the menopause.
If your hair is thinning and nobody has told you why, see your GP first and ask for ferritin, thyroid and vitamin D tests.
How it works
A short, no-pressure call, within one working day, to answer your questions and book a free consultation.
We look at your hair loss, choose the shade with you and draw the hairline on. You check it in the mirror. Nothing goes in until you're happy.
One and a half to three hours, depending on the area. Deliberately lighter than the finish.
At least a week later, once the first has healed. Density is built up.
Shade and density refined. Some people need a fourth.
The pigment softens over the years. A top-up brings it back, priced when you need one.
Afterwards: red and lightly scabbed for a few days. Keep your head dry and skip anything that makes you sweat for four days.

Would 100% recommend! Alicia took the time to talk to me about what I needed and was honest and kind, which is what you need when considering these kind of treatments. Alicia took the time to check in following treatments and put any worries I had to rest throughout the process.
Alicia is amazing. She’s kind, caring and bubbly which immediately puts you at ease. She’s also very professional and prioritises safety in everything she does. She listens to your goals and gives honest, informed advice which I really appreciate. I never feel pressured into additional treatments or to book again straight away which is nice when making big decisions. The results are amazing, very natural enhancements that have made such a big difference to me. Thank you Alicia! I’ll definitely be coming back 💕
Alicia was incredibly friendly and kind from the moment I arrived for my first appointment. She made me feel completely comfortable and at ease, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I’m so happy with the experience and would highly recommend Alicia to anyone considering treatment for the first time.
Service is amazing, Alicia is super sweet and kind and does an amazing job at what she does. She makes it super easy to feel comfortable and n good hands. Treatment for tattoo removal has been great for me so far with results only getting better. Couldn't suggest more.

Questions
It can, when the hairline is too low, too straight or too dark, or the dots go in too deep. That's why yours is drawn on and agreed first, set for your age, and built up over three sessions rather than one.
It can, when the wrong pigment is used or it goes in too deep. SMP pigment sits much shallower than a body tattoo, and the shade is matched to your skin and hair.
Years, not forever. It softens gradually, faster with sun and on an oily scalp, and most people have a top-up every few years.
Most people describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful, and the hairline is the most tender part. You can ask for a break at any point.
It can be lightened with laser over several sessions, and we do laser in the same clinic. Full removal is never certain, so treat it as a long-term decision.
Only if you want the shaved look. If you're keeping your hair longer, the dots go in underneath it and nothing is shaved.
Yes. Most women keep their length, and SMP is used to reduce how much scalp shows through a widening parting or a thinning crown.
Yes, once treatment has finished and your hair has had time to show what it will grow back as. We may ask you to check with your oncology team first.
Alicia, or Libby from her team. Both are fully trained in SMP.
Yes. You must be 18 or over, because the law doesn't allow tattooing anyone younger.
